Many people don't think that bladder conditions can be resolved. But, the good news is that Bowen + Scenar improves and many times even resolves bladder issues.

Bladder Conditions

Description

Many bladder conditions include symptoms of urinary urgency and frequency. Urinary urgency makes it difficult and almost impossible to wait once you feel the urge to urinate. During sleep you may be woken by the need to urinate. When there is the urge to urinate many times during the day, a frequency issue is involved. Urgency and frequency often happen together, but it is possible to only have one. Urine leakage is also a common component of bladder conditions.

Causes

Infection is a common cause of bladder conditions. Nerve issues, medical conditions, pregnancy, menopause, and prostate issues can also be causes. Inflammation in and around the urethral sphincter inhibits the sphincter from sealing completely, also contributing to many bladder conditions.

Primary Symptoms

The main symptoms of most bladder conditions include urinary frequency, urgency, and leakage.

Treatment Philosophy

The over-arching question is always..."why?" Why has a bladder condition developed? What reasons are contributing or causing the symptoms?

A thorough history will be completed to discover what urination patterns exist and structural alignment will be assessed. If the pelvis is misaligned the organs are not optimally positioned within the pelvis and this leads to inflammation in and around sphincters. Practical strategies to stop the aggravating factors will be discussed, along with proven sphincter strengthening exercises. Inflammation in and around the sphincter will be treated using Scenar. Structural misalignment will be corrected using Bowen. Organ reflex points will be used to improve the bladder function.

Expected Outcomes

Fewer trips to the bathroom (both daytime and nighttime), better control of the bladder (situational incontinence), less urgency, and less frequency are the frequent results experienced when structural and inflammation issues are addressed using Bowen and Scenar.
